Full Bio Of Alexis G Travis
Alexis Travis is a leadership educator, mental health advocate, and military parent champion who brings heart, humor, and hard-earned perspective to every conversation. A Navy officer with over a decade of service—including qualifications in submarine, expeditionary, and Seabee logistics—Alexis is most passionate about helping people lead better and live better, especially within high-pressure, high-responsibility environments.
She holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia, a B.S. in Business Administration from UMUC, and an MBA from Yale School of Management, where she focused on organizational leadership. Alexis is also PHR-certified and a graduate of Joint Professional Military Education I.
As a mom of two, a service member, wife of a Navy Veteran, and a frequent mentor to young leaders navigating career and family, Alexis speaks candidly about burnout, resilience, and the realities of military life. Whether she’s teaching leadership principles, advocating for systemic change, or building community through her social media presence, she leads with authenticity, insight, and just the right amount of humor.
